These terms govern your use of FHG University, FHG Compass, FHG Foundations, and any institutional seat license issued by us. They are written to be read. Where a section decides something that costs you money or affects your rights, it says so plainly rather than burying it.
By creating an account, subscribing, or using any part of the service, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to bind that organization, and "you" means that organization.
If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you have already subscribed and no longer agree, you may cancel at any time under section 5, and you may be eligible for a refund under section 6.
FHG University and FHG Compass are subscription learning platforms. We provide structured curriculum, practice material, progress tracking, and career tools built from real IT consulting work.
Three things we do not do, stated up front because the whole platform is built around them:
We do not certify anyone. FHG is not an accredited institution, is not a degree-granting body, and is not a certification authority for any vendor. Our curriculum prepares you for third-party certification exams administered by organizations such as CompTIA, Microsoft, AWS, Cisco, CNCF and PeopleCert. Passing those exams, registering for them, and paying their fees is entirely between you and them. The FHG Graduate credential is our own record of what you completed here — it is not a vendor certification and we never describe it as one.
We do not guarantee employment, salary, or a timeline. Nothing in the service, our marketing, our career tools, or anything said by an affiliate is a promise of a job, a wage, an interview, or a result by any date. Wage and demand figures we cite are market data from named public sources, presented as market data and nothing more.
We do not grant degrees. Despite the name, FHG University confers no academic degree, diploma, credit hour, or transferable academic credential of any kind.
You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. Accounts are personal. Do not share credentials, and tell us promptly at info@fairleyholdings.com if you believe yours has been used without your permission.
An institutional customer that enrolls minors is responsible for holding the parental permissions its own law, policy, and funder require.
Automatic renewal, in plain language. Individual subscriptions are $25 per month (the University + Compass bundle is $40 per month). Your card is charged on the day you subscribe and automatically on the same day each month thereafter, at the same amount, until you cancel. There is no minimum term and no contract period. You may cancel at any time, from your account settings, in one click — see section 5.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive, handle, or store your full card number — it goes directly to Stripe, which is certified as a PCI Service Provider Level 1. See our Privacy Policy for what we do and do not see.
You authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method on the recurring schedule above. If a charge fails, we may retry it and may suspend access until payment succeeds. All prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax that may apply where you live.
We will send you a written confirmation of these renewal terms after you subscribe, and a reminder at least once a year for as long as your subscription continues.
You may cancel at any time, and canceling is at least as easy as subscribing. Any one of these works:
Cancellation stops future charges. You keep access through the end of the period you have already paid for — we do not cut off access the moment you cancel. Canceling does not by itself refund the period in progress; section 6 covers when money comes back.
Every new individual subscription carries a 7-day money-back guarantee. Within 7 days of your first payment you may take a full refund from your account settings in one click, without giving a reason. The refund cancels the subscription at the same time.
Outside that window, payments are non-refundable, and canceling stops future charges rather than reversing past ones. The full terms, including how institutional contracts differ, are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
We may change prices. If a change affects a subscription you already hold, we will tell you in writing at least 30 days before it takes effect, and the notice will state the current price, the new price, when it starts, and how to cancel. Where the law requires your affirmative consent to a price increase, the increase will not apply to you until you give it. Continuing after a properly-noticed change takes effect means you accept the new price.
Seat licenses for organizations are governed by these terms together with the order form or agreement we sign with you, which controls if the two conflict.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches this section. Where the breach is serious — sharing credentials commercially, bulk redistribution, or an attack on the platform — we may do so without notice and without refund.
All curriculum, text, assessments, labs, graphics, characters, names, logos, and software on the platform are owned by Fairley Holdings Group LLC or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. "FHG", "FHG University", "FHG Compass" and our character cast are our marks.
While your subscription is active we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the material for your own learning, and to keep personal notes and copies for that purpose. You may not redistribute it. That license ends when your subscription ends.
Certificates, credentials and résumé output that record your own completed work are yours to keep and to show anyone.
Notes, résumé entries, self-reported experience and anything else you enter remain yours. You grant us only the permission we need to store it, display it back to you, and operate the features you are using. We do not sell it, publish it, or use it to advertise.
If you send us feedback about the platform, we may act on it without obligation to you. We think feedback is the most valuable thing a subscriber sends us, and we would rather you send it freely than negotiate over it.
The curriculum links to free third-party tools, documentation, and lab environments so that practice costs you nothing. Those services are not ours, are governed by their own terms, and can change or disappear without notice. We are not responsible for them.
Certification names and exam objectives referenced in the curriculum belong to their respective owners. We map our material to publicly-published exam objectives. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an authorized training partner of any certification body unless a page explicitly says so. Exam objectives change; where we discover a mapping has gone stale we correct it, but you should always confirm current objectives with the certifying body before you sit an exam.
Some people who recommend FHG earn a commission. Every affiliate is contractually required to disclose that relationship clearly whenever they recommend us, and is prohibited from promising jobs, salaries, timelines, or certification. An affiliate is not our employee or agent and cannot make commitments on our behalf. If someone recommended FHG to you and did not disclose that they are compensated, tell us at info@fairleyholdings.com — we want to know.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that the curriculum is free of mistakes, or that it will produce any particular outcome for you. Technology moves; some material will be out of date at any given moment. When you find something wrong, tell us — we correct it, and we would rather hear it than have you work from it.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
To the fullest extent the law allows, FHG and its members, officers and contractors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost income, lost opportunity, or loss of data, arising out of or relating to the service — whether the claim is in contract, tort or otherwise, and even if we were told such damages were possible.
Our total liability for all claims relating to the service in any 12-month period will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) US $100.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold FHG harmless from claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the service, or your infringement of someone else's rights. This does not apply to claims arising from our own wrongdoing.
We may change the service and these terms. For material changes affecting your rights, we will give at least 30 days' notice by email or a prominent notice on the platform before they take effect, and the "last updated" date above will change. If you do not accept a change, cancel before it takes effect; continuing after that means you accept it.
We may add, remove or reorganize curriculum as the field changes. We will not remove a track you are actively working through without notice and a reasonable path to finish or transfer.
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account for a breach of section 9, for non-payment, or if required by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the state and federal courts located in Wyoming have jurisdiction — except that:

These terms, together with the Refund & Cancellation Policy and the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us regarding the service. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our not enforcing something is not a waiver of it.
